Shipping info not showing up

I'm trying to mooch a few books, but when I hit the mooch request button I get the sender's info, but my shipping info and the final mooch button (basically the upper half of the screen) aren't showing up, so I can't complete the request. Any help for this?

Hi, It sounds like your computer or phone is not showing the whole screen.... Can you change the size of the screen? I can press the three dots on the upper corner of the browser and reduce the screen size as needed -- scroll down the menu to View or Zoom, varies with whatever browser you have.

I have the whole screen. All the tabs on top are showing up properly, and I get the proper layout with all the info on other mooch requests, but not for this one particular user. I've had this issue before with mooch requests from other users. Maybe because they're overseas? Though I've mooched internationally before and not had this issue. Issue occurs regardless of using PC, phone, or tablet


Edit to update and fix typo:


I get the "To where do you want the book sent?" followed by a thin grey line underneath, then the sender's info. My shipping info is just completely missing like it's not coming back from the server or being included in the returned HTML. I'm thinking server side issue in that it's not generating the HTML correctly. This happens with all three books in trying to mooch from the same user, so not just isolated to a single request.


Edit 2 - Additional info and added paragraph breaks for readability:


So, I looked at the HTML for the broken request page and a functioning request page and, sure enough, my info is missing from the HTML returned from the server (145 lines for broken request page vs. 441 for properly working page). It looks like the error is occurring between lines 66 - 358 on the working page. These lines are missing from the broken page.


Edit 3 - Resolved? There were unclear steps necessary


So, I had asked the user via email if they were OK with the overseas mooch, and they said yes. However, I didn't click the correct button on the mooch page to ask if it was OK, which seems to be where the issue was. Once I clicked the button asking if they were OK with the mooch, then my shipping info showed up and I was able to put in the request. This was really not intuitive at all, but I think I've figure it out. Perhaps, rather than just leaving the shipping info off, some error message explaining the proper steps should be included.


I'm leaving this post here in case someone else runs into the same issue.

Hi,
It seems this is an international request, then.
Some members can specify they will not send books internationally, so maybe that is what is blocking your info from appearing.
You could try messaging them that you would like to mooch these books, but seem to be having system problems. See what they say.
